hi all.
i, currently, run piwik locally on a VPS tracking 10 web sites. works well and has been working well for over 2 years.
i've been messing with https://openshift.redhat.com/ for a wee while and now have a piwik install on one of their free gears (it's a very useful service...suggest you give it a go).
now my question is...are there any benefits to running the install remotely rather than on the box that's hosting the websites? does off-loading the processing to another machine help both the websites on the VPS and piwik?
