Where to place the PIWIK Code (no replies)

Hi,

have an issue. I have two site with PIWIK racking code.

They are on index page.
so to url eg
http://10.2.2.1/test/

Do i have to specify the last part eg index.php

I dont understand why the tracking is working for one and not for the other.
