Clarification of "tracking several websites" (2 replies)

Hello, first post.

I'm seeking clarifiaction of the FAQ about tracking several websites.

Am I correct in understanding that I only need to install Piwik on one server, using one database.
With that I can track other domains on other servers?

I have several websites. I want stats on website #1, but my hosting plan only allows one database, which I am using now. I don't wish to upgrade at this time.

I have another website, incudes a database that I'm not using, website #2.

Can I install Piwik on website #2 and have it track stats on website #1?

I am using Oclass on website #1 and they have a Piwik plug-in.
