user piwik runs under and is installed under (2 replies)

Hi,

We are running piwik 2.3. I was looking into upgrading to 2.5, since we run the web server
under a different user id (on linux) than the files are installed under, I have a cross of ownership
of the files. I cannot upgrade from the web browser because of this. So, my questions are:

1) is there a security concern of all the files in piwik being owned by the user that runs the web server (httpd)?
2) if due either to concerns on this list or concerns by a system admin here, I cannot have the user be the
same, then what files do I have to worry about under piwik when I do a manual upgrade (from shell)?
