Unable to login or change the password after upgrading Piwik from 2.0.3 to 2.9.1.

Getting "Error: Wrong Username and password combination" when trying to login
"Error : Invalid username or e-mail address." when trying to change the password.
No proxy on the host or the host connect to proxy.
