Import log files faster? (no replies)

Hi! is there anyway to import log files faster? .. I'm using import_logs.py and its working fine, but I have to load several gigas and it's taking forever.. any help to improve and go faster (maybe with a special parameter to ignore some checks? ) I will appreciate :)
