Access statistics not logged (piwik.php not showing in access log) (no replies)

Hi all,

I'm a newbie for Piwik. For some reason, the access stats aren't showing up on Piwik and here's my observations:
- piwik.js is being logged in the Apache access log
- piwik.php is NOT always showing up in the access log
- whenever piwik.php shows up on the log, stats show up on Piwik

I went through the troubleshooting FAQ & spent sometime searching the forum with no luck. Any kind of direction would help.
