Does piwik map works with the recorded latitude and longitude? (no replies)

Hi folks,

I'm manually feeding piwik for some tests using the bulk load tracking API. In all requests I'm sending real latitude and longitude coordinates but when I consult piwik maps, I can't see any data for the cities or states from my requests. All requests however have the same source IP.

Does piwik map make use of this info or is it restricted to IP geolocation?
