Fresh install - Parse error (no replies)

Latest and piwik-2.0.4-b6.zip builds are broken.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING or '(' in /home/user/public_html/stats/index.php on line 11

I get this after unpacking and pulling it up in the browser. I tried both zip and tar.gz archives.

I'm running PHP Version 5.4.17. I'd like to give Piwik a try. Thanks
