piwik log import fails on high max pay load (no replies)

Hi

I was trying to see if we could increase the number of recs/sec average by increasing the recorder max pay load size to 1000,2000 while importing the logs. The process just fails after few mins with no data imported. Could you please let me know what might be the reason? pay load size 400-600 works fine.
